Ferdinand Brajković

Ferdinand inherited the hives from his father back in 1952. Today, he maintains the number of hives at 140, keeping them in established locations in the garden and in a nearby meadow next to the village of Čipri in the Beram valley. Once distributing bee products to large companies across the former Yugoslavia, today he mostly sells most of the products himself. Through his activities, he says, he will try with other beekeepers to improve honey production and the work of beekeepers in central Istria.
